Lineage or Legacy Game Overview
In Lineage or Legacy, you take the role of a young man who was raised in the comforts of a rich family. Coddled by his mother, the protagonist lead a life of gratification and hence fell victim to obesity, callowness, and lethargy.
Due to this, the father had grown restless with his child’s (the protagonist) habits and constantly argued with him. One day, you had had enough resentment towards your father and you left home to pursue higher education at LewSerr University.
After leaving the comforts of your home, you will now face the hardships of life and attempt to find a place for yourself in this world.

Developer Notes:
Most of the images have already been compressed from PNG to JPEG. I wouldn’t recommend compressing anymore but if you’d be willing to share details on what settings you use for conversions, I’d very much appreciate that. So far from my testing, png to jpg works best when retaining quality. Tried Webp but the loss in quality wasn’t worth it.
I’ve also left several notes in the scripts. Best place to get an idea of ‘where things are’ is located in the “Variables.rpy” and “Char Variables” scripts.
